Higher self is not the same as Source or God. However, your Higher Self is connected directly to Source, no middle man. Your higher self is the piece of God - the tentacle - that is cast out to become, to learn, to grow, to experience and then to bring back to God (Source).
If God is the trunk of the tree, the higher self is the branch, and you are the leaf. All connected, but not quite the same. |
