Lightbulb Idea for 30 day trial tracker website

Hi all,

As a quick introduction, I'm Rohan, I haven't posted on these forums before but I've been a reader of Steve's blog for the past year or so.

I've recently had the idea of running 30 day trials somewhat like scientific experiments, with an aim, hypothesis (expected results), method (plan for the trial), results (usually daily or weekly journal entries about the trial) and a discussion and conclusion. I've tried it out personally and it seems to work well (see my wiki).

I'm now thinking about making a website that would let you do all of the above, and also let you record results in a more systematic fashion (ie. ticking boxes for days completed as well as making journal entries) and importantly, allowing more than one person to conduct the same experiment at the same time, and to record the results in the same place. Access to the whole website would be free.

I think this would be great because it would bring together people attempting the same experiment, and afterwards there would be a record left for other people to read over if they're thinking about conducting a similar experiment themselves.

Would you be interested in using a website like that? Any ideas to make it better? I'm enthusiastic about using the website personally, but I'd also like to get some feedback on what other people want so I can make something that's usable by everyone

Thanks!
Rohan
