Jes, I know what you mean. I'm a night owl. If I don't properly practice my yoga before bed, my mind is spiraling in all types of zany directions for hours before I can get it simmered down. I do, however, notice a special tranquility with waking up early (4:30 to 5ish). I suppose there is a reason why dawn is known as the holy hours.
Creatively, I peek at midnight and in the wee hours of the morning. Observing a sunrise is a delicious pleasure that I try to capture more of. |
