Hello, I'm Neil. I signed-up just for this thread

Everything about this technique and philosophy appeals to me. I haven't had a chance to read the book, but I've spent a day reading this thread and Tom's newsletters. The benevolence, love and compassion that Tom describes is the world I want to live in.

But, alas, it hasn't worked for me yet. I wrote an MBO on a pad of paper and placed it next to my window. Despite living alone, I just can't bring myself to speak aloud

. Are written MBOs less effective than spoken?

Can anyone suggest a good way to experience MBOs for the first time?
