John Douillard's book "Body, Mind and Sport" is a great read for the "less is more" concept about exercise in general.

There are some interesting ideas concerning body types and choice of sport / exercise.

I got the most value out of his approach to the Vedic nasal breathing applied to running. Darth Vader...eat you heart out!

If you have come from a "no gain, no pain" approach to exercise, like I did, it may come as an almighty but potentially liberating shock...
