I started with Buck Rogers XXVC, the TSR Inc. game in the style of their Gold Box Forgotten Realms games, but in a sci-fi rather than fantasy setting. Talk about addicted! I must have played Countdown to Doomsday and Matrix Cubed all the way through dozens of times...
