It is indeed a personal decision. However, if you become involved with activities you feel passionate about and take classes which challenge you intellectually, I don't feel you'll regret university (and may actually reap many benefits).

I loved my philosophy classes - they were so stimulating. All my classes, in fact, added value into my life. I'm a huge self-learner, but university can give you a unique opportunity to meet with other brilliant, like-minded individuals.
