I requested a lot of MBO's when I was trying to put together financing for a package of movies that I and a friend in Paris had optioned several spy novels from WWII. Traveled to St. Petersburg, Prague, Budapest, Cannes, L.A. and Paris, but each time something weird would happen to cause the deals to fall apart.
I finally asked Theo about it and he said it would have taken me down another path and that I would reach more people with my books that I would have ever reached with the movies. You just have to accept this when you start requesting MBO's. |
Tom, how are we able to know the difference whether a MBO just needs time to be fulfllled or whether its not benevolent for all involved to be happen ?
