One way to improve the strength of your hair is to refrain from washing it too often with shampoo. Of course it's ok to rince your hair everyday with clean water, if you wash it too often with shampoo or conditioner you lose a lot of the natural oil that allows your hair to remain stong.
Perhaps only wash it half as often with shampoo but give your scalp a good massage under water everyday to stimulate your hair follicles.
