I tend to look at "Christ" in his human experience..... it was his human side which makes me see genius.......
1) for one thing , his claims were short of a mad man, his story was just to mad not to be true....
2) He offered practical advice, "pick up your mat and walk"!! He never focused on the problem when dealing with people in the parables, Christ was a problem solver... not a problem dweller!, forward, visionary thinker, idealist ( i think)
3) it is very difficult to put him in a category,( that is what i love) he was a true individualist, he went into synogoges, but he was not a pew sitter.... I can not picture Christ as wearing a uniform... or can I ever picture him as standing outside of abortion clinics, with a picket sign, ... he just did not operate that way
4) for living 34 yrs look at how rich his life was.... what he accomplished,
the following he had.... so wether he is a cult leader or guru, visonary or mad man
he lived an incredible life, touching hundreds of people ... to me that is genius
