That last post could help more than you realize, you need to discern if he is dizzy, as in vertigo, or off balance as in ataxia. Ataxia. feeling off balance usually finds a cause in the ears as in the disease of Airline Pilots as in Meniere's Disease. There are several conditions in the brain in the Cerebellum that can be inherited affecting tingling in hands arms and the symptoms can progress to urinary or bowel problems. I would never hesitate to take him to a neurologist, they may put him through more M.R. I.'s but some of the disorders can be treated medically to alliviate his symptoms. These types of symptoms can be caused by anxiety - the brain can react in different ways to stress etc, and because the brain has control over all the nerves, you can experience most kinds of neurological symptoms from this. It is a diagnosis of exclusion though as more serious causes of disease need to be ruled out. Nonetheless if stress is the cause, then treatment is available so its important that it be identified and treated or else it may become chronic. My first sense was the Meniere's disease, although there is not a specific symptom of numbness and tingling with it always, the anxiety from the not knowing could be a factor and simply put any pressure physically in the brain, especially in the Cella can cause many Neuro smptoms. I hope this helps. Oh, and from the tests they have done thus far, this Meniere's does not seem to have been ruled out.
