I'm doing very well with Adsense and my Commission Junction affiliates. I really figured it out about a year ago and since then have been making good jumps each month. I have had sites for several years, but only focused in the last two on making money with them.

Play with your ads in different positions and different background colors. I used to always put my ads at the bottom of the page until I learned that moving them to the top banner and on the left and right made a huge difference. There are a lot of other things that will increase your page revenue as well.
