Why would you assume that only this universe is confined to moral obligations? And scientifically, we 'know' only a smidgen about this current universe. It may be difficult to grasp parrallel universes because of our current limited knowledge of this infinite space we call home. Earth, the Milky Way and our current Solar System is merely a speck on the horizon, and we have yet to even discover all of its glorious secrets.
