Yeah, the new age jargon can be off-putting. Think of it as resonation. You know when an idea or a person just resonates with you? The idea is raising that same harmony between yourself and the intention. That's as opposed to the clenching of fear, doubt, guilt and other limiting factors.

We tend to think of resonating with someone/something as a function of serendipity, but it's really just a function of how we live our life and how we think. When those are in sync with someone/something else, it resonates. Likewise, when our life and thoughts are in harmony with our intentions, they resonate.

This is what people are teaching you to evoke when they talk about vision boards and gratitude stones, etc. That is why living congruently with your intention is so critical; you cannot resonate with something that's out of sync with your life, no matter how badly you want it.
