I have also heard a lot about the Mayan calender and how it was so accurate they could predict planetary movements thousands of years off or something like that. All I really have heard is that life as we know it will change, ive heard that a lot of scientists believe that earths poles will switch as it does every so many years, and that will cause outrageously bad weather killing off almost everything. The part that sucks for me is that the Mayan calender says this will all happen in 2012 on the winter solstice (Dec. 21) which just so happens to be my birthday. So if it is going to happen it could be the day when I was brought into this life and also taken out of it.
