@Syndicate, I was very resistant to the self-marketing -- I hated it, and got all inwardly tantrummy the whole time. And out of that, I had one of my most valuable breakthroughs: the power of a quality "No." I had spent a lot of time feeling "pressured" by others in my life, and I am delighted to have disconnected that.
In SELP, you'll get more of that: vigorous invitations to register for ILC or a seminar. I don't resent those vigorous invitations anymore; I myself wouldn't have registered for the forum in the first place if my friend hadn't really been, shall we say, persistent.
I have done some post-curriculum seminars and other stuff, and my all-time favorite was the Communication Courses -- LOVED them! They were like Advanced-Advanced courses.
I'm not going to do this weekend's course, but I think I will do the Advanced Course again maybe in March. I just love Randy MacNamara, who led my first advanced course, so I'd love to do one that he leads, but all those leaders are astonishing and inspiring.
