Cardiovascular exercises is but one of the many things that our body needs to be fit...
We also need to train our muscles through some type of resistance training... and, not least of all... we need flexibility which needs to be done through stretching exercises...
Now, if you hate running and other C/V exercises, I would suggest skipping rope like the boxers do... five minutes with the jumping rope might not be ideal... but it is certainly better than nothing...
