I've gotten a lot of benefit from using Maslow's needs as a basis for my own health and the health of my world. I've found that the best way to help others is by helping them understand what
they need and then helping them find ways to meet those needs in healthy and sustainable ways.
My simple philosophy for making a better world is:
1. Learn how to take good care of myself.
2. Try to live up to my standards for the kind of person I want to be.
3. Learn about the world and how it works.
4. Use my knowledge about how the world works to help others.
I try to focus on at least one thing from this list every day. I fugure that's going to add up to a lot of great stuff.

One Simple Thing
P.S. I do get it, the world is already perfect, and will continue to be perfect, and part of that perfection is me working to make it "better" :-)
