I could have been clearer. MY life was better before the internet. I didn't think about it, or get sucked into spending hours online, like I used to with the t.v. I find technology amazing but I also like to use things like BOOKS...(what are they?) to find out stuff. I find that the amount of time it takes for my computer to find a page sucks up so much of my time. I definately use it with discretion. I also resonate with Quakers quite a lot, so it's possible that if past lives are true, then I used to be one!

I'm not saying that I don't get a lot out of being on this forum...I do, and it's about the only place I come to on the internet, apart from gmail and a forum for people living with PTSD.

The feeling I get when I turn on the computer, the energy it gives off, I find uncomfortable.

Each to their own though. It's definately a good resource...I just like having more time to go tot he forest or the beach or to hug trees, and talk to people in real life.
