2 OBEs, and a ghost cat
When I was 12, I was visited by a Being who induced an OBE in me and warned me that someone I loved was in terrible danger. (The "Being" was distinctly feminine and benevolent beyond any shadow of a doubt. The love manifest in her was almost palpable when I was out of body.) I was at my great-grandmother's at the time, so I thought it was her in danger, but it turned out that my 2 sibs were trying to climb the hayloft in Gramma's barn. (No, I didn't know what they were doing when I had the OBE; I was chronically ill, very sick at the time, and I was napping in the living room before the sibs even went out exploring.)
Mom went looking for them and made them come back to the house, because "your sister is white as a sheet and babbling about somebody dying." Apparently Mom took me more seriously than I believed at the time. I later learned that sister broke up in hysterics because I was obviously off my gourd.
The hayloft (and most of the barn) fell of its volition about 2 weeks after I had this experience. Gramma had very little doubt that the loft (at the very least) would have fallen if they had tried to walk around up there.
---
My mother and I are both frequently visited by the ghost (?) of one of our pets: a Meezer cat named Andy who died a few years ago. On cold nights, he jumps in bed with one of us.
I can distinctly feel the bed moving like a cat is walking on it, but turning on the light reveals... no cat. And yes, this has happened when my other kitties are locked out of the room and there was nothing in the house to walk around on the bed.
Mostly, when I feel him, I just murmur, "Hi Andy," and continue on my merry way to sleep. I think the light disturbs him, and I want him to stay where he's loved and comfortable.
