Animal proteins are toxic under the absense of essential fatty acids (Check Masai, Traditional eskimo, Aussie aborig and uplift who eat mostly unprocessed animal food ). Any health food in excess is bad, any bad food even in moderation is detrimental to one's health, including the excess "vegetarian" cabohydrate(refined) intake that plagues most of the sedentary modern man with diabetes and obesity.
