I've had OBE's where my room looked exactly the same as it does normally except that the light in it was different -more blue-ish. Then after taking a bearing on how fully-conscious I was, I might notice changes occur suddenly in the room (like there suddenly being an archway on the north wall which isn't there in physical world, etc) I once took hold of a feather which I had on my table, while out of body, and noticed that although I held the feather in my hand, there was still another feather lying on the table! Strange things like that happen.
