I posted this on another topic, but it applies here as well.

Astral Projection is not dangerous, unless you believe it is so. It is really as simple as taking the spiritual aspect of self out of the physical vessel to experience life unbound by physicality for a little while. The body is nothing more than a vehicle, no different from your car. Your spirit, or soul, occupies it for the duration of this lifetime and then you move on to other things.

Please understand, you are not your body. You are not your fingers or toes, the skin or the bones. That is not who you are. You are the energy, the essence that makes the skin and bones animate, that causes the fingers and toes to move. We are but actors playing the part of humans for this lifetime, and many of us have forgotten who we were before and who we will be after and have fallen into the belief that we are the character we're playing, as opposed to the actor deep down inside. We are a living part of all that is, call it source, call it God, the name isn't as important as the meaning. As we were part of what was created, so are we also in part the creator.

I can't imagine a Christian's argument in trying to tell you that astral projection would be a sin, but it's also irrelevant. It's no more a sin than meditating or dreaming or imagining, and it certainly isn't some dangerous slippery slope that can suck you under if you're not careful. Filling your head with those thoughts is what creates the fear in the first place. There aren't malevolent beings just waiting for you to project so they can steal your body, nor is there something waiting to attack your spirit once it has projected. These fears are brought on by ignorance of the true nature of astral projection, and it's only by having these fears that you will experience any of this. Have no expectations of the outcome and allow angels to guide your journey and I promise you wont be harmed.

I have read many posts recently on people warning of the dangers of astral projection. Lets break this down so we can shed some light on the issue.

Your current being is composed of two parts working in tandem to create and maintain the human experience. Those two main parts are the spirit, which is connected to and is a constant part of all that is, and your physical body, a vessel in which the spirit resides and animates in order to have the human experience. There is a mind-heart-body connection going on as well, but for simplicity's sake, let's just stick with the two parts.

When we come into this life, our spirit is joined with this physical body. When the body dies, the spirit separates and moves on to it's next phase of existence. This means that we existed without a physical body before this life and we will once again exist without it after this life. If you can embrace this concept and see the truth in it, then you are able to see that there is much less to fear from astral projection, or any method of mind-body separation, than originally thought. When we project, we are exercising our spirit's ability to move about untethered by the body. The spirit still maintains a connection to the physical body, so there's no reason to worry about being lost, getting separated or losing communication with the physical body at any time. When the physical body is left unoccupied, source energy tends to the body to ensure it maintains life function, breath, pulse, electrical and nerve impulse communication. I assure you that when you leave the body for a while, it does not begin to die, nor is it any more susceptible to danger than it was when you were in it.

I say this again: when you leave, your body is tended to in your absence. I can also promise you this from experience, if there is something happening in the physical plane that requires your immediate attention, you will be returned to a physical presence of mind posthaste. The problem that most people run into with this concept is they try to use examples from the physical world to relate to an experience they may have in the spiritual world. It doesn't work this way.

In he spiritual world, the illusion of distance and time do not exist. Just because it takes you 5 minutes to drive to the store in your car doesn't mean it takes that amount of time to travel there in spirit. For the spirit, there is no such thing as separation. All things are one thing, and everything is adjacent to everything else. This is a realm where the speed of thought is the only speed. Once you picture it in your head, you're there. And when you are needed back at your body, you're back. Time will likely have slipped as well, since your spirit can have hours of experience within only one second of physical time. Again, anyone who has had a deep, visual meditative experience can tell you the same thing. You experience 20 minutes worth of visual experience in just a few minutes of physical time. The same will happen with astral projection. In fact, meditation and projection are very closely linked, as one can easily be achieved by employing the other.

I invite each and every one of you to try astral projection and be free from the fear of it. I have personally asked Gabriel to watch over each and every one of you on your journeys, so you can feel safe knowing that you are being watched and protected. I've heard so many posts lately about fear and danger in regards to this exercise, so I'm hopeful that more of you will be able to post about your amazing experiences with astral projection.
