Yea, I also went to a chiropractor for a couple of years. Before, I use to pop my back by twisting my waist in a chair. It would sound like bubbles popping. I actually thought this was normal. After being x-rayed and subluxations spotted, it took two weeks for the chiropractor to make this completely go away. It was crazy, because they are able to weight both sides of your body symmetrically. One side of my body weighed 15 pounds more than the other due to the lower subluxation in my back.
I haven't been to a chiropractor in 4 years, but my lower back is still normal. They completely fixed it for good. Worth every penny. My insurance covered it, but I wasn't covered for the first year due to my job. It only cost me about 30 bucks per visit twice a month. I was going every week starting out. Eventually it cuts down to once a month, bimonthly, then maybe once a quarter. It's like tuning a piano.
Think about it, the spine is the central nervous system's pipeline. If it has subluxations, you are getting less blood circulation to all parts of the body. I would say the majority of people have subluxations. You get them from fender benders, falling, or even after you have been born.
