Not trying to nit-pick but I think it's important to add some info. to your Neti wash experience.
To perform neti you use something called a neti pot, which looks like a small teapot. You fill the neti pot with a cup of warm salt water and insert the spout into one of your nostrils.
Everyone should be aware that only non-iodized salt (i.e. sea salt) vs. regular table salt should be used when performing a nasal cleansing.
First-timers will usually grab the nearest salt shaker and ultimately burn thier nasal passages. Consider yourself warned...!!!
FYI - You can find sea salt on the cheap at WholeFoods in the bulk section.
Also, the temperature of the water will greatly affect the effectiveness of the Neti wash. Too cold and you nasal passages close up. Too hot and they get scalded. A good rule is to run the water over the back of your hand. If it feels comfortable, then you're in the right range.
