A lot of successful businessmen started their work DURING college and ended up dropping out (bill gates, steve jobs, etc...).

I'm currently trying to make money doing computer troubleshooting/tutoring. It's a bit slow right now but it is a good thing to get into especially at a university where most students have computers these days.

Try posting an ad on craigslist to start off, in whatever trade you know well.
