Stop giving them attention. I hate to be a mystique-killer, but they are more likely the result of unresolved emotional experiences than premonitions of your untimely demise. There are certainly many possibilities, but you have to ask why you would have paranormal visions of such dark things. It's hard to come up with a good reason.

The thing to remember is that most unresolved emotional issues remain completely obscured from our own view, but they manifest in external ways -- dreams, acting out, psychological projection, etc. Since intuitive states are so deeply connected to our emotions, these sorts of things will sometimes poke their heads out when we find ourselves in intuitively receptive states, though they may have nothing at all to do with the intuitive content itself, or may be a device of the intuition -- possibly a message that it's time to start working through those issues in order to open up more to intuition.

Whatever it is, there's a neat process you can use to help understand it better. Get three pieces of paper and a pen and set aside about 30 minutes of uninterrupted time. You're going to write for 8-10 minutes on each page. On the first, write about the visions and images -- how they made you feel, etc. On the second engage in a dialog with them as though they were sentient, had motivation and could respond. Tell or ask whatever you want to say and let them respond. On the third, take the perspective of the magically sentient images and visions and speak to yourself through their voice. Then take a few minutes and read them, recognizing that all of these are your own voice. Chances are you will find something interesting, whether intuitive, emotional or both.
