It's absolutely
not possible. Why? Because it's too soon and you will keep falling into the same traps. The same old feelings will be dredged up. Right now you need distance to put it in perspective.
On the other hand if you try to be friends you will end up getting intimate again and the cycle will repeat itself until you wear each other out. I know this from past experience and from others who have gone through this same type of situation. Too little time has elapsed for it to be anything different from what it was. It takes discipline, effort and a strong desire to change to make it anything else.
