Steve may not be enlightened to the fullest extent but he has a pretty good understanding of how to empower yourself to achieve your goals and what not. SR is something that if used correctly, can allow you to overcome problems and risks that may have seemed impossible with "objective reality".
You have to be smart about it. You know damn well that you can't manifest things out of thin air by simply holding a belief. You know the real point of SR. Just because you took it too far doesn't mean its dangerous for everybody else.
