what is your quality of sleep like? It could be that you are not getting into a deep sleep or that something in your environment such as noise is waking you up at night.
It sounds very much like you accumulated a sleep debt. If you can't do something like reading a book without falling asleep then I would say you need sleep.
look around at where you sleep for things that might wake you at night, too much light, noise, discomfort...
