Everybody has got some positive traits. The Nazis, who were murdering people in gas chambers also had their loved ones who admired them. Some of them loved their pets who must have thought what a wonderful owner they had. Hitler was reportedly very charismatic and charming, Also, power is often an irresistible afrodisiakum and many people, especially women, fall down on their knees before a man in a position of power, regardless, what a monster he may be, how he has acquired his power and how he uses it.
But any person who uses his occult knowledge and power to control others is a black magician. And regardless that you laugh at me when I am talking about the higher Justice, Irisha, such a person is invariably bound to be destroyed by what they have been doing.
Another thing, even if a powerful shaman managed to free you, it would probably be only a superficial and seeming freedom, since the roots of the problem would remain untouched. The karma would still remain, waiting to be resolved sometimes in the future. But since you don't believe in karma, from what you have said, it needs not to bother you. But there is a question whether even that is possible when you admire the man. Well, just a few thoughts to ponder...
