Default My gums started hurting;nutrional deficiency?

Last week, the gums in the upper left part of my mouth started to hurt. I thought that it was probably because I didn't brush my teeth and floss one day, but as the soreness continued into the third day, I thought, "Wait a minute. I brush and floss. One missed day isn't going to cause this."

Then it felt better...except now the front lower gums started being painful.

Today it is the bottom right teeth. I've been brushing and flossing the same way every day, so WTF?

I've been trying to find out what it could be, and since I am on a vegan diet, I was trying to find out if perhaps I haven't been getting enough of a certain type of vitamin. Apparently a vitamin K deficiency can cause problems with the gums, but I've been eating of broccoli and occasionally kale in a green juice drink. Perhaps I need to consume more? Maybe I need to eat something else to make sure the vitamin K actually gets used?

Is it possible that my gum pain is due to a nutritional deficiency, or could it be something I haven't thought of?
