So if your body doesn't count and the physical things that you owned don't count after you are dead, then the only that's left are the physical synaptic connections in the brains of other people. So the only thing that is left of you are other people's memories of you.
If its the memories that count then you've got to leave good memories. Maybe some memories count more so than others.
Does the amount of synaptic connections mean that you've influence more people and so you are better?
OR is it the concept of your character and how you've treated people what matters?
