Physical brains don't have emotions, thoughts and memories, your consciousness makes those things.

All your feelings, all your thoughts, all your emotions are consciousness/awareness having/experincing them, you just
think you are having them in this persistant physical reality.

To think you are so powerful that you can have all these thoughts and then to ask where the heck they come from!
Everything you create (thoughts/emotions/pain/suffering) comes from your true self (consciousness) and you create that/make that real in your physical reality.
