be careful what you wish for.
A few years ago, me and my sister were visiting a friend and stayed at her place for a few days. The last day of the visit was my sister's birthday. I was packing my things when she said that she wanted to get rid of me, so that my leaving would then be her birthday present or something. (We didn't get along very well back then as you can see.)
As I walked toward the bus station, I made a phone call or sent an sms and was just putting my phone away when someone squeaked behind me. I looked around, saw a tram coming toward me and stopped the last second, not to get hit by it. If that someone hadn't got my attention, I wouldn't be here typing this right now. (In case she's reading this, THANK YOU!!!!!!!! *hugs*
)
But that wasn't all. When I crossed a street again, a black car appeared from an unexpected place and I was lucky that I didn't get hit by it.
Then I got on a bus and made her take that wish back because I thought the bus was gonna crash if I didn't.
