So I feel like I'll just be labeled as a "n00b" but these questions are burning in my mind, so I'm asking them anyway.
I've always been extremely interested in the paranormal, but I wouldn't consider myself gifted in those areas. Sure, every once in awhile I'll experience deja vu, or know what song is playing on the radio before I turn it on, or know who is calling before the phone rings. But to be completely honest, those occurrences probably don't happen enough to be more than coincidences. (Yeah, yeah, positive thinking, law of attraction, etc. etc.
)
My main question I guess would be this:
Can psychic skills be developed, or must one be born with them?
And the follow-up question, as I'm sure you can guess, would be
how? 
I realize this is kind of general, but this is all kind of new and confusing to me. I'd just really like to unlock the abilities of my subconscious mind, and I don't think I'm alone. (At least I hope not!
