Default Darkworker insight

Hello nvictor, I completely agree with all of your logical reasoning and explanation about how darkworkers might be more beneficial to this world than lightworkers. As a fellow darkworker, I also have trouble seeing how anything can be accomplished without a certain level of fear.

However, I still detect some of the lightworker mentality in your justification for becoming a darkworker. True, darkworkers do have something to offer to the rest of the world , but that’s just the icing on the cake. Obviously it would be rather inconvenient for something to happen to this planet during the time that we’re (or at least I’m) still on it, but saving the world is not, by any measure, a darkworker’s first concern. There is a certain apathy or indifference to anything which is not directly affecting us at any given time. It’s an extremely inverted, individualistic worldview. Basically, “I’ll watch my back, and when the problem is directly confronting me (the individual), than I’ll deal with it” (remember selfish, personal power?). And, if lightworkers are indeed destroying the world, then they will inevitably get what’s coming to them, through the natural course of events. If the population of the world tips too far towards lightworking, then it has sealed its own fate and reality will not hesitate to respond accordingly.

A darkworker by nature is a selfish being, and will find a way to survive even as others perish. A well polarized darkworker has enough faith in their own power and abilities to deal with any situation (with their unyielding desire for self preservation), should it become necessary; and to just let others worry about the world's problems until then (such concern is not very enjoyable or productive from a selfish standpoint).

Of course, this entire post is completely invalid if your reasons for becoming a darkworker were not entirely honest in your first post and were “lightened up” for this primarily lightworker audience (I can’t say that I blame you, if this is the case). If this is not the case, then perhaps polarizing a little more will help you to grasp the true selfish nature of what Steve refers to as “darkworker”. If that doesn’t work out then you can always try doing what many well polarized lightworkers do and just say that you understand and respect the role that darkworkers play, as well as the purposes they serve; without actually being one.
