To be honest, for me it would have to be The Age of Innocence.

So many of my friends have been made to suffer through this film and all say the same thing at the end: THAT is you favorite movie. It's so depressing!

I guess that I get something out of it that other people just don't.

Yes I suppose it could be seen as depressing and some days I have seen the depressing side of this movie.

But if you look at it right it is a story about honor and integrity, loyalty and grace.

Maybe that is why it inspires me, because it has all the downs that one can find in real life but still displays the ups: beauty and tenderness.
