The problem is each persons worldview. You have your particular worldview, and this I
respect.
But to lead a magical and miraculous life, unfortunately your particular worldview is in the way.
As an example, I view existance 24/7 (actually not quite, but getting there)
as being able to choose, at any time, from infinity.
SIDE NOTE: A person's developement,
decides to what degree they can choose from infinity. (Addressing your shape shifting points in your post.)
But, when a person's development is there, shape shifting is as easy as breathing. In fact easier !
Because this is your natural state........choosing constantly from infinite realities.
