Now that I think about it, there is a more recent story:

I'm not a big fan of commuting to work (who is?), and I wasn't really enthused by the idea of working from home, so I intended to find a job as close to home as possible.

Last year, I accepted my dream job - 3min drive, 20min walk! Not to mention the decent pay rise.

Put it out there people, the universe is listening!
