This shows you don't understand SR. It's not as easy as just visualizing a dragon and then POOF, one appears. There is probably 8,000 different beliefs that you already have in your subconscious mind that will prevent you from materializing a dragon in the kitchen, so you would actually first have to overcome those before it appeared.
If you ever want to be able to make dragons in your kitchen, start with manifesting something smaller that will give you a "Holy crap, that's neat!" feeling, instead of a dragon in the kitchen which would give you a "Holy Mother of Christ this is ****ed up, my life is over!" feeling.
Play with little things, not dragons. Little things will lead you down the path you seek, without breaking the path.

Not really. Firstly, why exactly would I go to the doctor? In your world, do you consider doctors to be the wisest people you know and therefore think in terms of "If my doctor thinks I'm crazy because I think this way, it must mean I'm crazy."? Doctor's aren't really that smart. They are simply smart at the thing that they specialize in, based on the teachings that have been taught to them. THat doesn't mean they know everything about everything.
To fully grasp SR, you need to firstly realize that there is no one smarter than you to "check with", because there is no-one else.
