You're speaking of humans as if we are separate to nature. We're not.
Do you really think that species are never driven extinct by the actions of other species? Do you really think that species never drive
themselves to extinction? The ecosystem was never a static balance - millions of species have been born and died before the first human footstep touched the Earth.
Yes, humans affect the ecosystem to an extent that Earth has rarely seen before, but we're still a
part of that ecosystem. It's a mistake to think otherwise.
