No, no... no PM allowed. We are going to start ranting here when we see you online during the next month.
Good good, scare the living hell out of me so I won't return for 30 days.

But your right, no PM's for me either. So to anybody trying to contact me in these 30 days, well tough luck lol.

It will make a difference to stay away.

How to stay away is to ask yourself if you really get anything from being in forums. As long as you can make the answer such that you don't get benefit, know what I mean?

And it sounds like you are fed up in a way, so I bet your answer would be something like, you just get to waiste time and get agrovated and feel like rel life is slipping.

I've cut back a lot of online stuff since finding this forum - used to be more even though I post in this one still. And often I wonder why I'm spending time here. What is the benefit? I could do fine without it seems.

Remind yourself that real life > forum life, in other words. You will survive.

I'd say PM is forum useage btw. Also are you cutting out idle web surfing? Or stupid emails? Just wondering how extreme you are trying to go.
Yeah I understand what you mean, its the intellectual vs internal thingy. Intellectually I know I'm much better of contributing in real life than over a message board, internally it hasn't sunk yet. Probably because giving advice in real life is much harder (in general) and meets more resistance...

Forums start to shimmer through as a bit of a artificial way of communicating, like there's a layer of dust between everyone and you never get a chance to really talk. I've also got the feeling that most advice on message boards gets easily dismissed...

Well to be honest my focus at any one point in life is generally very narrow in a sense that I'm just not interested in anything else than that particular subject. For me its right now its PD and I've read the good free stuff online so far, if I'd want to read more I'd have to look around (which I don't feel the urge to do). Besides I'm now at a time to USE the stuff I learned.

My email has never been a huge problem, spend like 15 minutes a day on it...(only ~140ish messages unread, meh I weed good but delete bad lol)
