There are a couple of options if you want to work from home;
1) Join a Network Marketing company, this is NOT internet based but a solid long term option. Always remember that Network Marketing requires that you stick around for the long haul, at the start it will go slow but its like a locomotive; once it picks up speed your unstoppable.
Oh and be carefull what company you pick, most company's are great but there are some bad apples who can spoil the experience and oppertunity.
2) Start a blog or other internet based system to generate money out of adds or donations, this one is tough because there is a huge competition. The upside is that there is very very little cost to get started which is obviously great. You need some kind of knowledge that people are interested in, a good marketing sense and writing skills. This one requires a even longer breath to get to the real money, expect atleast 6 months before you start making any real money (like more than 5 bucks a month
).
3) Surveys/phone company's/whatever I have no experience with these so I can't comment on it.
