I'm all about action. I'm definitely a ready, fire, aim person (both a good and bad thing). And sometimes, I also share your sentiment.
But, I agree with Shamou - the approach is a little too rah-rah and preachy. Tell us about the 2 hours every night you spent writing - how did you come to this point? What inspired you? What were the challenges you faced?
And, as a writer, I have to ask you - how long did you spend on revisions (which I consider the longest part of the writing process). How did you decide to market the book? Did you send it to a publisher? How did you feel when you finally sold a copy?
Again...writer to writer...you should show, and not tell.
