So your essentially saying a few things;
- I believe that every business owner is a darkworker, but please convince me I'm wrong.
- I believe that two businesses need to compete with each other
- I believe that the other guy is incapable of coming up with unique idea's and will not share them with me.
Hold on a second, I just realized something. I have a completely different belief system than you (oh no shock) because I work in a different business than you. Now I don't want to turn this into a sales pitch or anything but the great thing about network marketing is that by helping other people you are growing your own business at the same time without the risk of them leaving. In fact it would be the shizzle if they surpassed me, I mean wow GREAT now I get more profit and they get more profit and they are happy and I'm happy.
You see I don't know if its possible in regular business, I honestly went into this thread with the idea to show you that its possible. But I can't seem to wrap my mind around having to do hostile competition all the time, doesn't seem natural to me. Now I realize that regular business is probably a very strong me vs them feeling. So thank you for showing me that I'm at the right spot at the right business at the right time...
Anyway to try and solve your problem, perhaps talk to the person in question and tell them your problem. Just be open to them, see what they think about it. Tell them your fear and suggest that perhaps you should coach him in life and be his friend but keep the businesses out of it. Is that an idea?
