Pay attention to your everyday life. Listen to your friends. Eavesdrop on people in the coffeeshop line. Make a list of all of the problems you hear in one week.

Then see if you can solve any of them. If there's a lack of good DJs, set up a service like Matt did. If the snacks in the coffeeshop suck, see about selling baked goods on the student center lawn. If you solve a problem, people will pay you for it.
