haha No, it's not a bad thing. It's just a personality type which best suits your cluster of traits.

I've heard many people say they're working to become an 'E', as if being an 'I' were a bad thing. For me, it just means if I know I'm going to be out in a social situation, or if we're going to have a pile of kids over, I definitely need to schedule some quiet downtime afterwards, so I can re-energize. I think there are some negative connotations with the word "introvert", as if we were never able to socialize or communicate at all! But that's not what it means to me. It just means I get my energy from being alone.

I read Please Understand Me about 15 years ago - and it explained SO much! Like, why I sometimes felt so misunderstood - INFPs are only 1% of the population! No wonder my viewpoint wasn't shared by so many. So, now I've come to understand that my viewpoint is important to add to the mix, my voice is important.

I haven't explored it much, but Christine Kane swears by the Enneagram. I'm a 4 on that.
I tested INFJ, but then I sometimes test for INFP. Maybe I've become more P-ish. Strangely enough, I was also Enneagram 4 but now I think I am 5. I don't know. Did your Enneagram type change?
