You also quote 'Human history is the story of alphas.' That's your opinion, and the viewpoint of one book that you read. I agree with one thing though... the story bit. Human history depends on who's telling the story, for instance, American Indians have one view point, western Americans another, Tibetans have one view point, Chinese another. Likewise, the concept of success has many viewpoints, Indigenous Australians view success and successful people in a totally opposite way to colonial Australians. So, are the people embellished by human history alphas? Depends on who's telling the story, and your viewpoint.
