Don't own a car and therefore walk everywhere - that's at least 50 minutes every day, usually more. That's spread out through the whole day with two big chunks in the morning and afternoon (to and from home).
I also lift weights 3 or 4 times a week, usually before lunch. The days that I lift I usually feel pretty tired for a few hours. Even though I do push myself pretty hard, I think it is avoidable to be so tired. I may experiment with lifting at a different time.
